Setting up the HP LaserJet 8000DN on Windows 2000

1. Open the Control Panel and Printers. Click on File and Server Properties.

 

2. Create a new Standard TCP/IP Port.

 

3. The printer's IP address is 18.80.4.15

 

4. After adding the port, add a new local printer

 

5. Select the TCP/IP port to connect to the printer.

 

6. Our printer supports both Postscript (PS) and the HP printer language (PCL).

 

7. Once created, right-click on the printer and go to Properties.

 

8. Find the entry for the Duplex Unit and switch to installed in order to enable double-sided printing.
