The Precision Engineering Research Group (PERG) is in the Department of Mechanical Engineering at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology.  PERG is directed by Prof. Alexander H. Slocum, Professor of Mechanical Engineering at MIT. PERG focuses on the design and manufacture of innovative precision machines and components.
