The Precision Engineering Research Group (PERG) is in the Department of Mechanical Engineering at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology. The lab is directed by Prof. Alexander H. Slocum, MacVicar Faculty Fellow and Neil and Jane Pappalardo Professor of Mechanical Engineering at MIT. PERG focuses on the design and manufacture of innovative medical devices, precision machines and components, and energy systems.
